Wasteless Culture Monday + screening
Time & Location
About the Event
We are doing a screening of the Documentary "Vegan: Everyday Stories".
Everyday Stories is a feature-length documentary that explores the lives of four remarkably different people who share a common thread - they're all vegan.
The movie traces the personal journeys of an ultramarathon runner who has overcome addiction to compete in one hundred mile races, a cattle rancher's wife who creates the first cattle ranch turned farmed animal sanctuary in Texas, a food truck owner cooking up knee-buckling plant-based foods, and an 8-year-old girl who convinces her family of six to go vegan.
- Our Wasteless Culture Mondays offer a welcoming community to dine with and of course, plant-based meals made from rescued foods. With us you always pay-as-you-feel! Every Monday dinner features a co-created performance, workshop, discussion or screening. We offer a platform for filmmakers, organizations, musicians, performers and other creative minds to share their ideas. Come see for yourself and bring your friends along!
Note: We strive to serve all our food at the end of the evening to live up with our "wasteless" concept. The most effective way to do so is to provide a first-come-first-served service. Therefore, it is not necessary to reserve a table, however it is best to come between 18:30 and 19:00 to secure your spot and let the rest of the evening run smoothly.
After dinner, there will be leftover food so bring a bag, a box, a container, anything to carry some delicious fruits & veggies home with you!
